The Nourishing Our Golden Years Actis being sponsored by U.S.Senators Bob Casey (D-PA) and Susan Collins (R-ME), leaders of the Special Committee on Aging. This Act will streamline the application pros and reduce the burden on states in the administration of the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Commodity Supplemental Food Program by increasing the certification period to one year.
